Top Chef - The Science of Baking

The French Edition

Immerse yourself in the fascinating science of baking and the beautiful language of French.   Learn, in French, the secrets that top chefs use in making French pastries.  We will learn "hands-on" the properties of fats, sugar, eggs, carbon dioxide and microorganisms so that we can make delicious food the way the professionals do. We will eat all of our "experiments" on the day we make them. We will also go to the local Farmers Market a few times to shop for fresh ingredients.

This French speaking camp is offered during the Fall Break of the French speaking schools in San Francisco.
