Funmatics

This program will boost mathematical thinking as students are introduced to unique math topics in a new, exciting, and challenging way. Once a month, for a total of 5 months, practical techniques will be used to explore topics such as the math of spirals, understanding mazes, developing math logic, doing and learning the math behind Sudoko, and more. Once students complete their work they would email it to scientists in Israel for a review and feedback.

This program will help kids gain lifelong math skills that could be applied to daily situations.

This program will utilize the Math-by-Mail curriculum, developed by the Young @ Science department at the Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the world's leading science institutes located in Rehovot, Israel.

All classes will be held at our studio on 3rd Ave and Balboa on Sundays 4-5:30pm.


Level 1 - recommended, but not limited to, grades 3rd and 4th
Dates: January 13th, February 3rd, March 2nd, April 6th, May 4th

Level 2 - recommended, but not limited to, grades 5th and 6th
Dates: January 20th, February 10th, March 9th, April 13th, May 11th

Level 3 - recommended, but not limited to, grades 7th and 8th
Dates: January 27th, February 24th, March 16th, April 27th, May 18th
